As a wedding floral designer, each project brings its own set of unique challenges and creative possibilities. But I have to say, this particular shoot has become my favorite creative session to date. This project truly inspired the muted tones and unique design.
Working with Jordan Dumba Photography, as always, is a complete joy. She came to me for this session with a unique setup. The setup, the color palette, and the floral textures were all about breaking out of the traditional and embracing the unexpected.
We worked with a palette grounded in nature—muted earthy tones, like the soft browns and greens found in moss. I paired those with subtle blush and cream textures, which added a gentle, romantic feel with a pop of blue for interest. This session made me want to create and explore more monotype arrangements in future designs. I felt like I truly stepped into my role as an artist, crafting something not just beautiful but unique.
This shoot also kicked off the season of collaborating and working with Payton from Payton’s Place Designs where we work together on larger-scale events together.
This shoot using muted tones and unique design has reinvigorated my creative spirit and excited me for what’s to come! Contact us here to start creating your beautiful, unique design!
